Welcome to SupperTime
SupperTime is a platform connecting users to unique one-of-a-kind dining and learning experiences in the home kitchens of amazing everyday cooks. Our communities are full of individuals who prepare amazing home-cooked local, ethnic, and comfort foods, and we want to share the story of their food, empower their income potential, and connect our food-driven culture to their door.
How does it work?
If you’ve ever hosted a dinner party then you already know how this works. Basically, an event host cooks their favorite meal and guests come over to eat in the host’s home. The host cooks the food, welcomes the guests in, tells them a little bit about their food, then the guest eat with their party just like in a restaurant. After the meal the guests leave and the hosts cleans up. Afterwards, we recommend the host send their guests a recipe for a dish from the meal they just ate - this is optional but is such a nice touch. Then the guest leaves a review on the app. Through the App the guests sign up, make payments, and leave reviews. We’ll also make an introduction video of the hosts that helps the guests learn the story of their food.
We believe that people are yearning for unique and memorable experiences where they can connect with new people and truly unique food. Restaurants are great, but they can get a little boring. With this – you can log on and find hosts that cook home-cooked comfort southern foods, BBQ smoked in a back yard by a self-taught pit master, authentic ethnic food prepared by authentic ethnic hosts – and the best part is that you learn about their food, interact with the hosts, and leave with a recipe so you can try it at home. This is not only an amazing food experience but a unique learning experience as well.
Our App empowers hosts to connect with guests to create their own side income! Each host will control their own pricing so that means the more demand you have for your meals and the better your reviews the more you can charge! You set your own schedule through our calendar function and can host up to 2 events a night every night of the week or one party a few times a month. It’s up to you!
What about COVID?
We have adopted procedures and protocols to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy. We’ve been isolated for a long time and believe that we are positioned for a great reception as things open up this summer.
How do I sign up?
Do you have a unique story or love to prepare amazing food? Then join in! In order to become a host, you’ll need to fill out an application and we’ll get in touch with you. When you are approved, we’ll walk you through the information you’ll need, how to use the App, and come over and make a video of you telling your story about food. If you prepare amazing tasting food, have a story about why you love this food, and like to host and serve people in your home then this is for you!
There’s so much more to tell but this will get us started.
